The number 123.9 represents B Corp Impact Score achieved by Rapid Asia in January 2025, a significant increase from the original score of 108.9 when Rapid Asia was B Corp certified for the first time in 2021. It is a timely achievement to mark the company’s 15th anniversary in 2025. But what does the Impact Score mean?
As a company with a vision is to help social development clients to achieve sustainable change, Rapid Asia is committed to walk the talk. Our vision needs to be translated into strong evidence. That is the main reason why Rapid Asia first embarked on the B Corp Certification process in 2016. The certification was introduced by B Lab Global, a nonprofit network aimed to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
Since its first journey with the B Corp Certification system, Rapid Asia has been aware that the certification is only awarded to companies that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. To be certified, a company is evaluated across five key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. To be exact, B Corp status is evidence of a company’s commitment to balancing profit with purpose, ensuring that its operations benefit all stakeholders, including employees, communities, and the planet. For Rapid Asia, the stages within the certification system constituted a long process involving self-assessment, data submission, evaluation, review, interview, follow-up rigorous review, and an independent audit of the company’s policies and practices.
“Indeed, the B Corp certification was far from a tick-box exercise. Its process was meticulous, demanding, and held us to very high standards. But that is good and shows the certification carries credibility,” said Daniel Lindgren, Founder & CEO of Rapid Asia, reminiscing the company’s first milestone in 2021.
Based on the latest B Impact assessment in January 2025, Rapid Asia Co Ltd earned an overall score of 123.9, see Figure 1 below. The median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9. Meanwhile, the minimum score to qualify for B Corp Certification is 80. Commenting on the result, Daniel stated: “The improved impact score is a testament to how we continually strive to improve the work that we do”.

The overall score’s significant increase from 108.9 in 2021 over the past three years to 123.9, far above average, and is a proof that Rapid Asia has diligently worked to enhance its impact, leading to the recent certification upgrade. This progression reflects Rapid Asia’s continuous efforts to integrate sustainable practices into its core operations and to foster a positive influence on employees, the society and the environment.
Indeed, with the B Corp Certification upgrade as one of the latest professional acknowledgments, we are optimistic we will keep sharing more and good news regarding our responsible business practices.
