While the launch happened this year, the conception of Rapid Universal goes back a few years. When asked about the genesis behind Rapid Universal, Daniel explained that,
“Back in 2018, we already realised that our branding needed to change. Amongst other things we did, we tweaked our logo to put less emphasis on Asia.”
Rapid Asia started from humble beginnings as a small company registered in Bangkok, Thailand in 2010. Specialising in social research and consulting projects on monitoring and evaluation (M&E), the company has achieved impressive results over the past 15 years. To date, Rapid Asia has carried out projects in over 40 countries for various organisations including the many UN agencies, international NGOs and foundations. Many other developments have been made such as the creation of an in-house AI-powered tool, Rapid Guidance, which enhances the efficiency of thematic analysis. Undoubtedly, Rapid Universal has been a much-needed addition to these development milestones.
Upon completion of a project with Rapid Asia, the Director of Plan International Thailand, Sujintana Hemtasilpa, praised Rapid Asia’s ability to work in diverse settings.
“Our projects demand working with various stakeholders and Rapid Asia has shown they have the ability to earn the respect from people from different cultures and seniority,”
she said.

Rapid Universal will continue to leverage on this reputation and strong work ethic to achieve sustainable change anywhere.
“We expect that Rapid Universal will help our growth moving forward as it will give us more flexibility in managing international projects”
Daniel concluded.

Rapid Asia is highly committed to support sustainable and responsible business practices to make differences to our society. If you found this article useful, please remember to ‘Like’ and share on social media and hit the ‘Follow’ button on our LinkedIn never to miss an article.
