Effects of Forced Labor and Trafficking in Persons on Female Relatives of Male Fishers

In 2020, Rapid Asia carried out a mixed-methods study on the “Effects of Forced Labor and Trafficking in Persons on Female Relatives of Male Fishers”.  The study was conducted on behalf of Plan International under the Safeguarding Against and Addressing Fishers’ Exploitation at Sea (SAFE Seas) project. This study took place in Mindanao in Sarangani Province and General Santos City (GenSan), where the SAFE Seas project is being implemented.
