We, Rapid Asia, would like to invite you and your organization to participate in USAID Asia CTIP‘s upcoming workshop entitled “Empowering Voices: Rethinking Labour Migration Policies” on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 1.30 – 4.00 pm. In this regard, we will present the Regularization Program in Thailand.
This workshop aims to bring together NGOs, migrant networks, and migrant workers in Asia to explore and share best practices, identify prevalent challenges, and formulate informed policy recommendations concerning recruitment and employment of migrant workers. The discussions will specifically delve into critical factors such as associated costs of migration, the duration of the migration process, flexibility of migrant workers to switch employers and regularization process and requirements.
