The “Recruitment fees and related costs” report was a major research study carried out by Rapid Asia, on behalf of ILO, in Thailand. The study looks at what migrant workers from Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar pay to work in Thailand. Recruitment costs can be rather high and the importance to reduce this cost is recognized in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development under indicator 10.7.1. To find out more, read the full report.
